Meet Brian White
 Brian White represents District 6 in the SC House of Representatives. He has served the people of Anderson County since 2001 and over the years has earned a reputation as an experienced and dedicated “bridge builder” who shapes public policy based on strong families, sound economic growth and high-quality education.
Brian was born on July 20, 1967 in Anderson, South Carolina to Earl and Sara White. As a life long resident of South Carolina, he graduated from Dixie High School and then attended Erskine College. After college, he worked in the family business as a flight instructor and now works as an insurance agent at Capstone Insurance Services, LLC in Greenville.
Since he was elected to the SC House in 2000, Brian has quickly moved up the ranks. In recognition of his demonstrated leadership and his outstanding legislative record, Brian was recently elected by his peers as Chairman of the House Rules Committee, which acts as a legislative gatekeeper and helps determine which bills see floor action. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Legislative, Executive and Local Government Sub-committee, which manages the budgets of the executive office and local governments.
Rep. White is married to Courtney Bell White and the couple has two daughters Amelia Grace and Isabelle Faith. A member of Young Memorial ARP Church, Brian and his family live in Anderson.
